What software is required with EZYiD®?No specific software is required for data upload or transfers.
What frequency does EZYiD® use and is it licensed?EZYiD is Licensed, Tags are passive and operate from 860mhz - 960mhz. Australian Readers operate at 918mhz - 926mhz, and European and North American Readers operate within local requirements.
Where does the data go?You can use your own internal asset register. A Dedicated EZYiD portal is coming soon!
Are EZYiD® tags weather proof?Yes. Water proof, vibration tested, heat rated, (currently undergoing UV stabilisation validation).
How accurate is the reader?100% read accuracy due to the specifically designed and enhanced UHF aerial on the EZYiD reader.
Is an intrinsic or ATEX rated reader available for the passive tags?There is a price pointed solution available. Please contact your reseller for more info.
How long does it take to upgrade and asset to be EZYiD® ready?Depending on the product, as little as 30 seconds to attach a tag, scan the serial number then press save.
How far away can the EZYiD® reader transfer information?The Bluetooth pairing allows for up to 15m range of a confirmed device. The audible alert allows the user to hear a confirm read, therefore no need to watch the screen.
What can I add an EZYiD® tag to?Anything you deem to be valuable or require auditing and tracking that has a serial number. If you need to record movements, locations and service history, EZYiD is perfect.
